The CO2 emissions for the diesel engines range from 133 g/km to 130 g/km. The Fiat Doblo can get from 56 to 58 miles to the gallon with its Start-Stop technology being fully utilised. As previously mentioned the 1.3 and 1.6 diesel engines comes with the EcoJet technology. This technology vastly lowers fuel consumption. What You Actually Get
Hill-Holder is an important safety feature with the Doblo. The Hill-Holder techonology, which includes Hydraulic Brake Assist, automatically activates the torque used in braking needed to give the driver the best control on any level on hill.
Activation takes place when the vehicle is either pointing in the uphill or downhill directions at a gradient of 2% or more.
Electronic Stability Control, also known as ESC, is an extension of Advanced Braking System (ABS) with speed sensors and independent braking for each wheel.
The sensors are able to continuously monitor and input the driver's steering in order to tell if the vehicle is pointing in the intended direction.
In case of emergency maneuvers, the back end of the vehicle may spin out resulting in complete loss of control. However, ESC can work out how much brakes to apply to each wheel to prevent the spin out, whilst reducing engine speed to bring the vehicle back to the line of intendant travel.
The Start-Stop technology in the Fiat Doblo is a unique device which helps reduces your fuel consumption during every journey. This technology does this by turning off your engine automatically when your van is stationary, whether it be at red lights, in traffic or anytime that you are in neutral (disengaged clutch), resulting in noticable improved fuel consumption. The van starts right back up when engaging the clutch to go into gear.
The suspension is made up of various different factors which automatically adjust resulting in the suspension being calibrated specifically to be fully utilised. With the BI-Link rear suspension technology you get the best safety features for your cargo, greater comfort when driving and fantastic stability.
