Mercedes Vito Van Leasing

Reasons To Lease The Mercedes Vito?

Mercedes vans have been designed with a focus on what their customers really want and need, and that's why the Mercedes Vito is still such a popular choice for leasing with many of our customers!

The Vito comes with one of two wheelbase lengths, but the body is available in compact, long and extra-long lengths. There's also the option of getting a long Mercedes Vito with a high roof which gives the Vito van quite a few functions and possibilities. It is also the first mid-size van that offers three different drive systems while hosting a range of innovative passive and preventative safety features that will be discussed below. In fact, Mercedes are such experts in safety that the Vito won What Van’s safety award for 2016

Safety – Vito’s Main Focus

Let us focus our attention on the Vito’s safety features and how seriously Mercedes takes safety on all their vehicles, be it cars, van, pickups or trucks.

Here we look at what comes with the Vito van:

Cross wind assist

This feature comes as standard. It works through the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) unit that can detect strong cross winds. When strong cross winds are detected, the ESC will apply independent braking to the wheels to prevent the vehicle from being blown into adjacent lanes whereby preventing any potential accidents.

Tyre Pressure monitoring System (TPmS)

Included in the price, the TpmS is designed to warn the driver of any tyre pressures that are lower than they should be. This feature is designed to warn the driver to do something about the situation rather than there being a sudden deflation at high speeds.

Attention Assist

This system monitors the driver’s input and is designed to detect irregular driving patterns to determine if the driver is at the verge of falling asleep at the wheel. The Vito will alert the driver through visual and audio queues to wake up and take a break.

Adaptive Electronic Stability Programme (eSP)

It works on a similar basis as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) which is a type of roll over preventative measure. During evasive or sudden swerving, your top heavy van has a tendency to want to roll over. Thanks to independent braking on each wheels and the killing of the engine, it becomes practically impossible to roll the van over.

The Vivaro’s Engine Specifications

The Vito can be ordered with 2 engines sizes in mind with different power outputs, giving you a choice depending on your business needs.

Vito’s 1.6 Litre Engine

The 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine actually comes from Renault. This version of the van is front-wheel drive that designed for lower speed driving such as in urban areas in order to keep running costs as low as possible.

Vito’s 2.15 Litre Engine

For circumstances that require higher performances, trailer towing and generally more intensive use, then the rear-wheel 2.15 litre four-cylinder engine will be the one for you.

It is available at three power outputs:

Load Carrying Capacity & Payload

All the Vito vans are able to carry a payload of around 1000kg and the largest Vito has a cargo volume of up to 7.4m³ which is likely to be more than enough for most business needs! Depending on the vehicle length there is space for up to three Euro pallets (which can be loaded by forklift at the side), giving you some kind of idea about what this van is capable of. The van does come with load-securing rings though a rail system is available in combination with an optional wooden floor.

How Can I Lease A Vito Van?

Whether you're looking at a Mercedes van lease for a compact and manoeuvrable van for the city or for a motorway cruiser, the Vito is definitely up to the job. Both in the cabin and the back of the van, the quality of the interior is no less than you'd expect from Mercedes and the chassis is as robust as it is comfortable.

Mercedes Vito van leasing is a great way to make a statement and really shows you mean business. Give our advisors a call or send us an e-mail for a quick, hassle-free Mercedes Vito van lease quote.

If the premium cost of the Vito is too much, then be sure to check their rivals such as the Transit Custom, Vivaro, Trafic and Transporter. These could be a better suited van for your needs at a better cost.
