Other features that are expected on the new Volkswagen Amarok are the same T6.2 underpinnings developed for the Ranger, a 3.0-litre V6 TDI PowerStroke engine, the ability to fit a standard pallet between the wheel arches on the bed, and an improved wading depth of 800mm.
The interior is expected to be uniquely VW, with a new design for the steering wheel, seats, and switchgear. However, it is expected for the Amarok to use the same 12.0” multimedia screen, along with a version of the SYNC4 multimedia interface.
